What we do

A small studio with a long memory.

Four full-time designers, two stonemasons, a foreman and a head gardener. We take on roughly six commissions a year, and we stay with them for as long as the garden needs us.

Slow gardens, made on purpose.

A typical project runs twelve to thirty months. We don't rush — and we don't disappear.

    Walk the land

    We spend a full day on site — soil, light, wind, the way you move through the space.

  2. 02

    Draw in conversation

    Three sittings, hand sketches, then a full masterplan you can read without an architect's eye.

    Build with care

    Our own masons and gardeners execute the work — no subcontracting, no surprises.

  4. 04

    Stay with it

    Quarterly visits, a written seasonal journal, and a phone that always gets answered.
